The Shortest TLC Thanksgiving Blog Ever

Each year I have written a Thanksgiving blog.

This year I wrote two long potential Thanksgiving blogs. I worked very hard on them to make them “meaningful”.

Don’t be fooled! These campers are not dead, but rather partaking in our Gratitude Minute!

I woke up this morning and tossed them.

What I really want to say is it is not as complicated as we make it.

Everything we do at TLC is done to get to the simplicity at the core of who we all are as humans on and off the court.

So, if you are up for it, try four simple things today, and report back if you want, or don’t. This can take as little as three minutes of your day, something we all have.

  1. Turn to someone you are with this Thanksgiving and say, “I am thankful for you.”

  2. Text someone you love that you cannot be with and say, “I am thankful for you.”

  3. Text, call, or email someone “I am thankful for you”, who has been instrumental to you as a person, and who you have lost touch with.

Who are you grateful for this Thanksgiving?

And, finally, if you are feeling brave and feeling ready,

  1. Text someone you have had a troubled relationship with and say, “I am thankful for you.”

If you are not feeling brave or ready enough yet, that’s ok, wait for another day.

That’s it.

Happy Thanksgiving. I am thankful for you,

Neal
